RIAU24.COM - Eight factions of political parties in parliament held a meeting at the Dharmawangsa Hotel, South Jakarta and agreed to reject the closed system in the 2024 elections.

The Constitutional Court (MK) said the trial process is currently ongoing.

"Selas tomorrow, it will only be the third trial," said Jubir MK Fajar Laksono when contacted by padda on Sunday (8/1/2023).

Regarding how long the Constitutional Court will give a verdict on the judicial review lawsuit (JR), Fajar said this depends on the dynamics that occur in the ppersidangan.

"How much longer will it take to reach a verdict? Depending on the dynamics of the trial, we just follow it," he said.

Fajar said that the Constitutional Court is currently focusing on the trial.

"The plenary session of the case in question will be held again tomorrow Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11 o'clock in the plenary session with the agenda of listening to the statements of the DPR, the President, and related parties," he said.

8 Political Parties Reject Coblos Party Image

It is known that eight political parties in parliament held a meeting at the Dharmawangsa Hotel, South Jakarta.

As a result of the meeting, eight political parties agreed to reject the closed system in the 2024 elections.

"At noon today, we 8 political parties are united for the sovereignty of the people. Of course, this meeting is not just the first meeting, but it was agreed that this meeting will be continued periodically, to control the attitude of this political party," said Golkar Party President Airlangga Hartanto, at the Dharmawangsa Hotel, Jaksel, Sunday (8/1) quoting detik.com.

Airlangga said that the meeting, had five attitude statements produced.

He also mentioned that eight parliamentary political parties rejected the discourse of a closed system in the 2024 elections.

"In line with the discourse of re-enactment of closed elections, and a juducial review has been carried out in the constitutional court, we political parties have expressed a stance," he said.
